The public beta
The beta is free. You don’t need a license key, an account or a card to use it.
- As is. It’s a test version and may have bugs. It is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The No warranty and Limitation of liability sections below apply to it too.
- End date. Each beta build is free at least until its last day, and keeps working after it until Unstare 1.0 is out. Then it stops and points you to Unstare 1.0. We may stop offering new beta downloads.
- Sharing. Please share the link to this website, or the file we post in our Telegram channel, so everyone gets the copy that matches our checksum. Don’t sell the beta or get around its end date.
- Feedback. If you send us ideas, we may use them to improve Unstare without owing you anything for them.

Who you’re buying from
Unstare is made by Sunnatillo Ruzmetov (“we”, “us”). Orders are handled by our reseller, Dodo Payments, who is the merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes your payment, charges sales tax or VAT where it applies, sends your receipt and license key, and processes refunds. Their buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.
Price and payment
Unstare costs $9 (US dollars), paid once. It isn’t a subscription and nothing renews. Depending on where you live, checkout may add sales tax or VAT, or show the price in your local currency.
Free trial
You can use every feature free for 7 days before you buy, with no account and no card. When the trial ends, breaks pause until you enter a license key. Your settings and break history stay on your Mac.
Your license
This section is the license agreement for the app. When you buy Unstare, you get a personal license: a permanent, non-exclusive right for you, one person, to install and use Unstare on up to 3 Macs you use, at home or at work. To move it to another Mac, choose Deactivate in Settings › License on the old one.
You may not:
- publish, share or sell your license key, or use one license for a team (each person needs their own);
- sell, rent or give away copies of the app;
- remove or get around the license check, or modify or reverse engineer the app, except where the law says you may.
Unstare is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights in the app, its name and its design.
Updates
Every update we release for Unstare is included with your license at no extra charge. There are no paid upgrades and no yearly fees. We can’t promise particular features, or that future versions will keep running on every older Mac or version of macOS.
Refund policy
If Unstare isn’t right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. No questions asked, and you don’t need to give a reason.
- How to ask. Email sunnatilloruzmetov001@gmail.com from the address you bought with. The payment ID from your receipt email helps us find your order faster.
- What you get back. The full amount you paid, including any tax, to your original payment method through Dodo Payments. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- What happens to the license. We turn the key off. Within about a week, Unstare pauses breaks on every Mac that used it.
Bought twice by mistake? We refund duplicate purchases at any time. This policy is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Privacy
How Unstare and this website handle your data is described in our privacy policy. In short: no account, no analytics, no tracking.
Not medical advice
Unstare reminds you to rest your eyes. It isn’t a medical device and doesn’t diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If your eyes hurt, your vision changes, or headaches don’t go away, please see an eye doctor.
No warranty
We work hard to make Unstare reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost work, data or profits, that come from using Unstare. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Ending the license
Your license lasts as long as you follow these terms. If you break them, for example by publishing your key, we may turn the key off. A refunded license ends on the day of the refund.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. A change never turns a license you’ve already bought into a subscription or takes away its free updates.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
